2009

Getting Started

After years working with local builders, Jamie Wilshire launched Encompass Contracting as a handyman service focused on exterior painting, gutters, and repairs. His goal was simple: provide honest, quality service to homeowners in the Athens area.

2011

First Major Project

The company took on its first large-scale project, a $50,000 home improvement that included windows, doors, painting, and roofing. This milestone marked the transition from small repair work to full-scale remodeling.

2012

Becoming Encompass Contracting, LLC

Encompass officially became an LLC and expanded into bathroom remodels, basements, and kitchens. The business began focusing on the larger, more complex projects it is known for today.

2022

Relocating to Oconee County

The company moved its headquarters from Loganville to Bishop/Watkinsville, strengthening its roots in the Oconee County community while continuing to serve Athens as its primary market.

Now with hundreds of projects completed, Encompass Contracting continues to grow carefully, focusing on craftsmanship, client trust, and community support, including contributions to Extra Special People in Watkinsville.

Jamie Wilshire is the owner and operator of Encompass Contracting. He brings years of building experience along with a personable, hands-on approach. Jamie focuses on educating clients by explaining not only what will be done but also why, ensuring homeowners feel confident throughout their remodel.

Katie Wilshire

Katie Wilshire is a partner in the business and is actively involved in decision-making and client support. She plays a key role in keeping projects organized and running smoothly.
